Takuma Zaiki will continue to play the role of Rooster in Marumiya Food Musical “Annie” in 2024! Some information on the Tokyo performance has also been released.

April 2024, 4 (Saturday) to May 20, 5 (Tuesday) at the New National Theater
Marumiya Food Musical "Annie" will be performed.

This musical was created at Broadway's Alvin Theater (now Neil Simon Theater) in 1924, based on the comic strip "The Little Orphan Annie," which began serialization in newspapers in the United States in 1977. .
It won seven Tony Awards in the same year, including Best Picture, and continues to be performed around the world.
Since its first performance in Japan in 1986, sponsored by Nippon Television, it has become a national musical that has continued to warm and deeply move approximately 191 million people across the country.

In 2024, it has been decided that Yuri Okada and Yuki Ayata will be playing the role of Annie.

[Synopsis]
The setting is New York in the middle of winter in 1933, just after the Great Depression. The city was full of people without jobs or places to live, and everyone had lost hope. Meanwhile, there was a girl who never forgot her hopes and dreams.
Annie is an 11-year-old red-haired girl (Yuri Okada, Yuuki Ayada/double cast). Annie, who was abandoned before her orphanage 11 years ago, lives in the belief that one day her real parents will come pick her up.
One day, she secretly sneaks out of the orphanage to go find her parents, who haven't come to pick her up so that the director, Hannigan (Risa Sudo), won't find her, but she is soon caught by the police and taken back. Masu.
By chance, Annie meets Grace (Haru Kasamatsu), the secretary of billionaire Oliver Warbucks (Takahiro Fujimoto), and they end up spending the holidays at Warbucks' home.
Warbucks is fascinated by Annie's positive attitude and wants to adopt her, but she can't forget her real parents. Warbucks, touched by Annie's petty feelings, tries to find Annie's parents by offering a bounty, but a large number of people come forward and claim to be Annie's parents in order to get the money. Among them are Rooster (Takuma Zaiki) and Lily (Ai Tensho) who are up to no good...
